Road Repaving Project Edit page

Bates Paving & Sealing Inc. has been contracted to pulverize and repave roads within Canoa Estates in May of 2026. During this period, travel may be restricted on lower Camino Urbano and Calle de la Adelfa. If you have questions, please use the Contact Us  form to submit them to the Roads Chairperson.

Work will begin at approximately 7:00 A.M. each morning and will be completed at approximately 5:00 P.M. each afternoon. Bates Paving employees and heavy equipment will be working in the area, so please exercise caution. Access will never be restricted to emergency vehicles or in any emergency.

On the days they are pulverizing, grading, and paving, you will not be permitted to drive in these areas or park in the parking spaces. If you park in the affected area, your car will be towed at your expense. Bates Paving will not be responsible for any damage. Please plan to park your vehicle elsewhere. Barricades will be removed on the day the roads are striped (May 14th) by approximately 12:00 P.M.

Things to remember

• Trash/Recycling pickup, mail, and deliveries may be affected 
• No washing or irrigation during the closure period - the area must remain dry! Any premature driving or watering will nullify the warranty on the affected area.
